Teenagers and Valentines Day
Although I do not have a teenager just yet, I have nieces and nephews who helped me put this awesome list together of all the good teenage things! In addition to any and all of these….. gift cards, gift cards, gift cards. This may be to their favorite fast food restaurant or coffee house. This may even be for video games or clothing stores! Teenagers can be tricky and picky! Sometimes letting them decide might work well! Hopefully you find something for your young adult! Click this link to access the full list! Valentine Gifts for Men
Oh my goodness – I don’t you if you know, but my husbands birthday is two days before Valentines day! He is not a huge sports fan or video gamer, he is not a super outdoorsy type of person so finding gifts for him can sometimes be a challenge. He does love to be outside and smoke or BBQ up some incredible meals and he is a huge fan of all Yeti products, would you all be interested in a Yeti round-up? We recently purchased a flat top grill, total game changer, he is really loving that! Anyway, I am always trying to find him something he will love and…

Valentine’s Day For Kids
One of my very favorite things to do is build little baskets for each of the girls, I love to do this for all kinds of occasions but Valentine’s Day is one of my favorites! I get them all ready and have them set out on the kitchen island for them to wake up to in the morning! Although we obviously celebrate this day with a spouse or significant other, I also think it is a really fun time to remind each of your kiddos how much you love them and how special they are to you! The baskets usually include a book of some sort, a treat, sometimes Valentine…

Encouragement 2 Corinthians 5:7
So many people forget the most important part of this verse. Many tend to focus on the very first words , “Walk by faith,” although that prefaces what will come next, I personally think, the second part of that sentence should be the part that we don’t forget. “Not by sight”, we live in a world where we want what every one else has, we see it and we buy it – get it two days later via Prime (guilty)! The Lord wants us to not worry about what we see as our future or our path, or what we have or don’t have, but to trust what he has…

Tubby Todd Skin Care
Good Morning to you all! I am here today and so excited to talk with you about a product that I absolutely love and have used for many years with all three of my girls! My oldest struggled with eczema as an infant, bad! She would get patch after patch in her arm creases, her cheeks and behind her knees, poor thing was just miserable. My husband and I tried basically everything, we spent a TON of money and time trying so many products. One day we saw and advertisement via Instagram for Tubby Todd’s All Over Ointment with multiple testimonies. At this point we were pretty skeptical but were…

Meal Planning
Hey Sweet Friends! Wanted to just make sure you know that I am so grateful you are here and that I hope this post is helpful for you! Being the one who “holds down the fort” means I am in charge of planning, plus cooking, plus making sure there is food in the refrigerator and snacks in the pantry. I was always good at the snack part, but not always good at the meal planning part. Please tell me I not alone in that?! I was the one trying to throw something together an hour or so before dinner and then being frustrated because we always seemed to be missing…

Encouragement Psalm 46:10
As you probably know by now, I am person who loves and thrives on predictability and consistency. This verse is such a light for me when I am struggling with parenting or wanting control. I have repeated this verse in my head so many times and it gives me so much peace. Fun fact about me, I have one tattoo. It is a small cross on my wrist and this verse was the reason for it! Such a wonderful visual reminder that He has this and I don’t. It keeps me humble and content and reminds me that I can Be Still and find Him in my heart and mind…

Sweater Try-On
Good Morning friends! I ordered a couple sweaters to get me through the rest of the cold weather and wanted to share how great they were! I don’t know if anyone else is having a hard time finding time to shop and struggling with all dressing rooms being closed…. is it just me? Takes a lot of the fun out of buying new clothes. Also being glued to the house with three kids, two of which are scheduled with Zoom’s throughout the day per distance learning doesn’t help. Trying to get out of the house is joke, let alone actually going to a store and trying things on. I long…
