Encouragement Hebrew 4:16

I remember the first time I heard this verse, I will never forget it. I was raised in a religious household but was never taught to ask God for anything, and definitely not to boldly approach His throne. Let me be clear in the sense, that I wasn’t taught that it was wrong, it just wasn’t how we did religion growing up. Religion was quiet and calm, it was never, bold. I, personally grew up thinking I had no business asking God for anything when there were others who have absolutely nothing, and then I heard this verse and it completely changed my thoughts on who God was and how my relationship should be with Him. It was the start of a huge shift in my faith and my relationship with Jesus. I will always love this verse and come back to it every time I need reminding that He wants to help us, He wants to be close to use and He wants to be in our daily life. When I feel like I am in a time of need or when others are in a time of need, I know I can reach out to the Lord and call on Him to help. I know the Lord is near, he is working on me, on my heart and I will forever be grateful for Him and His beautiful plan He has laid out for me, us. Have a wonderful weekend friends!
