Faith Focused Friday

This week’s verse is such a good reminder that it is never too late to do what makes you happy! Proverbs 13:12 reminds us that “Hope Deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life”.

Why is that so? I really think that when you are doing something that fills your cup, you feel good! God wants us to feel good, He wants us to be happy! Take a long hard look at your situation, are you happy? Is God at the core? If you are, then keep it up girl! If not, first… pray about it, make little changes and take small steps. Set small goals and reach them, before you know it you will be right where you want to, He is faithful. God desires for us to have dreams and goals and to be working toward them. It connects us with the feeling of hope, it connects us to Him. He wants us to do these things in His name, to rely on Him! Use the gifts the Lord has blessed you with and use them for His glory. When you fulfill this, your heart will never be more full and you will be blessed – a tree of life!
