Nespresso Coffee Maker

Okay! I am so stoked about this! I have recently purchased the Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee and Espresso machine and milk frother and have to share with you guys how wonderful it is! Let me start by saying I am a former barista and previously owned the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew system and was completely content with it, but I had no idea what I was missing. On days when I was super tired and knew a regular cup of coffee wasn’t going to do it, my option was to have 500 cups or take a trip to Starbucks (never a bad thing), but now I can simply choose a coffee pod with a higher caffeine content and get that extra pep in my step the espresso at Starbucks would give me, add frothed milk and I basically have myself an incredible latte! If you are a fan of a light drip coffee, I will say this machine is not for you. The coffee is more on the heavy side and bolder in flavor. It is more of an espresso type of brew rather than a drip coffee, the froth milk creates more of a latte type drink. Be forewarned, it is on the louder side when you brew!

Here are the things I love: its matte black – the pods tell you how many ounces it will brew and the amount of caffeine it has in ml – the coffee is brewed with pressure so it creates a foam on top before you even add frothed milk – Nespresso has all the wonderful flavors and pod options, including cold brew – it is easy to clean – the milk frother has multiple options (including cold foam) – your machine connects to the app and you can order your pods and accessories straight from the app – the coffee is incredible!

    I LOVE the Nespresso coffee that your dad made for me. He is now my favorite barista. I am still waiting for my Keurig to die before I think about getting another one. I am leaning toward the Nespresso, but I am concerned about the price of the pods. (‘Cuz, you know, I’m frugal (cheap)…do you order your pods from Amazon and how to they compare to the Keurig ones?
